Really good hosts and cozy atmosphere

Marvellous and incredible location close to city centre, easy to get around. Based just off Eyre Square and many retail shops, pubs and restaurants, center of Galway and Railway station.

The hotel was spotless, and I really enjoyed a comfortable location. Got well-kept room with comfy beds as well as tea - always come in handy. There was a good restaurant and very very helpful staff.

Its location was central, close to Saint Patrick's Church.

The bathroom was very small, I didn't like it.

the suite i stayed in was silent with very good beds. the hotel was in a central setting near the harbour.

The breakfasts were a highlight-super yummy with lots of choices. The hosts were so nice, always ready to help, like filling my water bottle. Only thing was, it felt a bit awkward having someone by the buffet constantly, kinda like I was being watched. But still, a great stay overall!

This was just a fine choice for a city trip in Galway with reasonable value. The breakfast was world-class with amazing surroundings. If you enjoy history, chat with the hosts about Connemara, they know a lot!

The place is definitely in need of some updates. The carpets and chairs had stains. While it didn't bother us too much, a refresh could enhance the overall experience.

The hosts, Mike and Breda, created a warm atmosphere right from the start. They offered great travel tips and even helped park my tiny car. Breakfast each morning was good. I looked forward to the fresh baked goods and delicious espresso. The bed in my room was comfy and the space was clean. A refrigerator in the dining area was handy for storing snacks. On the downside, the traffic noise from the busy road outside. The shower controls were also tricky to figure out at first. It was a fantastic experience with minor annoyances that didn't take away from the enjoyment.

While the hotel is ideally located, noise from the busy road can penetrate some rooms was good. The parking situation is a bit tight, leading to a puzzle when maneuvering larger vehicles. Certain rooms, particularly those on the upper floors, could be warmer in hotter weather, resulting in discomfort without proper ventilation. Minor maintenance issues like loose fixtures and dated decor in various areas might also catch your attention.

The staff prioritized my family's comfort and safety, the kids had space to play. The breakfast was a highlight, with fresh baked goods and great coffee, setting a perfect start to our day.
